The memoir from Spears, titled The Woman In Me, is due to release next week, 24 October.
In her upcoming memoir The Woman in Me, due to release next week, Britney Spears shared a personal, painful experience from when she dated Justin Timberlake.
It's revealed that while Spears and Timberlake were dating, 17 and 18 respectively when the relationship began, she had an abortion because Timberlake wanted her to.
"Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," Spears writes in the book. Timberlake has not yet commented on the anecdote.
Now 42, the pop icon was released from her 13-year conservatorship two years ago after she gave a profound public testimony asking the judge to lift it. She's seen some big life changes since then, including a split with her husband Sam Asghari.

The upcoming book shares sometimes brutal truths, as it recounts her journey into adulthood and mega fame. It was also recently revealed that Academy-Award nominee Michelle Williams would be narrating the book's accompanying audiobook.
According to the publisher, the book reveals "for the first time her incredible journey (and) strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history." Further, it “illuminates the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.”
