The least dangerous substances are magic mushrooms and cannabis.
For the second year in a row, magic mushrooms carry the lowest acute risk of harm of any drug, with just 0.3% of the 130,000 respondents to the Global Drug Survey seeking emergency medical treatment last year because of them.
Also coming in at under 1% are cocaine, MDMA, ketamine and cannabis.
Most dangerous at 3.1% are the new psychoactive family of drugs and GHB, both of which are relatively rare here but clearly punch above their weight in terms of potential harm.
Also punching above its weight in terms of harm is synthetic cannabis, which has a 1.5% last year usage figure here but accounts for 2% of the GDS respondents seeking EMT.
