We're paying an average €19.50 per gram for Herbal compared to just 80 cent in Colombia...
Irish Cannabis is among the most expensive in the world, with high potency Herbal Cannabis costing an average €19.50 per gram here, and Resin €15.
They also remain premium products in Norway and Finland where you’ll pay €20 and €18.60 respectively for Herbal, and €18.60 and €20 for Resin.
Head across the water to the UK and the price of Herbal plummets to €13.20, with supposedly inferior Resin ten cent more.
At the other end of the spectrum, a gram of Herbal is 80 cent in Colombia, €3.70 in Mexico and €4.10 in Brazil.
Europe’s cheapest cannabis is to be found in Spain where the respective Herbal and Resin prices are €6.20 and €6 per gram.
In Canada, which is in the process of legalising all forms of Marijuana, you’ll be asked to pay €6.90 and €7 respectively.
36.2% of Irish respondents say they’d like to use less Cannabis over the next 12 months, with 18.5% saying they’re prepared to seek help to cut down.
Nobody here reported seeking emergency medical treatment as a result of Cannabis use, which underlines what a relatively safe substance it is.
