Tickets for Nicola Tallant’s Cocaine Cowboys at the 3Olympia start from €28 including booking fees and go on sale Tuesday 7 November at 9AM.
Following a sold-out show in April of this year, investigative journalist Nicola Tallant returns to Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre with an all-new presentation based around her new book Cocaine Cowboys: The Deadly Rise of Ireland’s Drug Lords on Sunday 18 February 2024.
Cocaine Cowboys brings to life the story of Ireland’s very own Narcos, and how they became big players on the international stage.
The show is set to follow the deals, the successes, and the catastrophic mishaps, as Tallant traces the trail of white lines from the jungle labs of South America to Ireland’s own Wild West drug frontier.

Nicola Tallant is a Dublin-born investigative journalist who focuses on Ireland’s organised crime network.
Beginning her career in local newspapers, she has worked for the Evening Herald, Irish Independent and Irish Daily Star.
In 2008, she began working with the Sunday World, and in 2010 was named the paper’s investigations editor. She has released two books, 2002’s The Witness and 2021’s Clash of The Clans
Last March, she sat down with Hot Press’ Stuart Clark to discussed her life as a crime correspondent.
“I started out as a journalist when the only thing you got was a by-line in the paper,” said Tallant. “Now it’s all about video and podcasting. If you’d told me even five years ago that I’d be bringing an organised crime show to the stage in the Olympia, I’d have laughed at you.
“It’s a bit crass to suggest you’re entertaining people with crime, but it’s a fact. I’d like to think, though, that there’s a responsible way of doing that.”
