Holistic sex educator Jenny Keane is bringing Ireland's one and only sex education show, Sexed Up, on tour.
Upon seeing phenomenal success at her first ever performance in Vicar Street in April, Keane decided to bring the show on the road and has announced dates for Cork, Belfast and Dublin.
A celebration of sexual expression and erotic freedom, the show is a feast for the senses. All about sex education for adults, Keane puts fun, creativity, pleasure and community at the very centre.
"If you want to change the way that you have sex, change the way that you live, because these things are absolutely inextricably linked," Keane said. "When we’re disconnected from the sexual, sensual part of ourselves, we limit the way we show up in our relationships – with ourselves, our partners, our family, and our relationship with work."

The two main reasons people consume her content are for inspiration or out of desperation, she says. "Inspiration is this desire to know more than you currently know. To widen their frame of reference, to expand their sexual imagination, to learn how to implement things that they might want to experience – and to understand how to experience them. The desperation part is where people are coming face-to-face with sexual issues."
With interviews, demos, audience interaction, performances and giveaways, this show is not to be missed. Solo friends are also welcome once again, including a meet-up before the show starts. According to Keane, "our last solo group are now all friends! So don’t be worried!"
Keane has faced her fair share of censorship in the past, with her in-person Sex Toy Show event being pulled out from under her due to a situation with the venue.
"Bringing in-person events to Ireland has been my next mission because I WANT us to come together. I WANT the community of caring, kind, supportive and HILARIOUS people to meet, to make friends and to continue to inspire and support each other the way we so beautifully do online,” Jenny stated in an Instagram post. "Right now, this is proving extremely difficult due to conservative boards, councils and venues."
Since then she has been fighting censorship and is grateful to have found liberal, sex-positive venues who are willing to host her shows. "I just want to say thank you so, so, so much for joining me on this mad adventure! There are so many battles and obstacles that happen behind the scenes. We have to fight hard for this kind of event to take place in ways you can’t imagine," she said.
