In 2019, huge strides were made on the island of Ireland in relation to women's right to bodily autonomy. But the remarkable progress that has been made notwithstanding, there are new battles to be fought in 2020.
If I am taking anything away from 2019, and my learnings from writing this column, and doing the Sex O’Clock News, it’s this: sex fixes everything! Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating just a little bit, but seriously, from releasing endorphins to getting a bit of exercise, is there anything that sex isn’t good for? Sex can be such an empowering, liberating experience. It is meant to be enjoyed by everyone and with the physical and mental health benefits that come with it, when it’s good, well, what isn’t there to love?
