US COURT STRIKES DOWN ANTI-PORN LAW
The American government’s war on porn received a blow this March when a federal judge struck down a law that made it a crime for website operators to allow minors to access ‘harmful’ material. To comply with this law, website operators would have had to ask for proof of age, such as a credit card, even for free content. According to the ruling, the judge declared this an infringement on freedom of speech for adults and declared that it was up to parents to use filters to restrict children’s access to certain sites in accordance with their own values and children’s ages.
IT WAS CHESS NOT SEX SAYS FORMER JAPANESE PM
Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone has denied setting up a brothel during the Second World War. According to historians up to 200,000 Chinese and Korean women were forced to work as prostitutes – known as ‘comfort women’ – on the battle frontlines. In Nakasone’s memoir, published in 1978, he describes setting up a comfort station in order to prevent his men raping women while on service in the Philippines and Borneo. He later described this as a brothel as housing voluntary prostitutes run by local businessmen. However when questioned this March, Nakasone described the facility he set up during his time in the navy as a place to relax and play chess. As the bishop said to the, er, queen…
2012 GAMES COULD INCREASE SEX TRAFFICKING
The British Home Office has announced plans to combat sex trafficking into the UK. Officials are concerned that the 2012 Olympic Games could increase the numbers of women illegally trafficking into the country as the number of male sports fans travelling to London for the Games will increase the demand for prostitutes. According to the Home Office, at least foreign 4000 women have been forced into prostitution in the UK.

BOOKS
Reporter and author Laura Sessions Steps explores the culture of ‘hooking up’ in her latest book, Unhooked. Recently released, the book is causing controversy with some commentators suggesting that Stepp is anti-feminist and arguing for a return to more restrictive sexual mores, although Stepp denies this. According to Stepp, young women may choose hooking up over relationships, as they are less time consuming, freeing women to concentrate on their studies and careers. Whatever your feelings about hook ups, it certainly makes interesting reading. Unhooked is available from Amazon UK for £11.59.

THIS WEEK'S TOP SEX TIP: G-SPOT GEOGRAPHY
Scientists and sex experts may argue over the existence of the G-Spot, but for a lot of women, there is no doubt that a sensitive area on the front wall of their vaginas is capable of giving great pleasure. Generally speaking the G-Spot is about a third of the way up the vaginal opening. According to Dr Ernst Grafenberg, who first described it, it is not necessarily a spot but an area through which a woman’s prostate can be reached.
Unlike the clitoris, the G-spot can be tricky to locate and doesn’t always respond to stimulation. For most women this area is not sensitive until she is already very aroused, so honing in on it at the start of foreplay isn’t a man’s best bet. Sometimes it’s more likely to react to stimulation if a woman has already had one orgasm. Also if you are both focused on finding the G-spot instead of enjoying all the pleasurable possibilities of the vagina, this pressure may make finding it all the more tricky. It is, as they say, a tricky one!
Before you begin, the woman should empty her bladder, as stimulating this area may make her feel like she needs to pee. You should choose a position that’s comfortable such as a big chair, with the man placed in front of her. This way you’ll have easy access to her clit and vagina with your mouth and hands.
Start about two centimeters up making “come here” motions with your fingers against her vagina and press firmly moving your way up. You’re looking for an area that is either swollen or has a different texture.
If you are having difficulty finding the G-spot, or if your partner is unsure she even has one, it might be a good idea to try a vibrator that’s dedicated to G-spot stimulation such as the Durex Play Wand. But even if you don’t succeed, you should have a lot of fun searching!
