A Melbourne sexologist has courted controversy by offering a sex therapy where men pay to get sex lessons from women. Most doctors frown upon this practice, which is called sex surrogate therapy. Therapist Brian Hickman claims to have achieved a 95% success rate helping men overcome problems such as premature ejaculation, difficulty talking to women and porn addiction and says his business is booming. His clients, all aged between 20 and 35 years old, practice sexual exercises with a sex surrogate and sessions may include full penetrative sex if required. Like most therapists, Hickman doesn’t come cheap and clients pay AUS$600 per session. Better be worth it.

OO’ER, SAUCY! LONDON OPENS SEX MUSEUM
London has opened its first sex museum, Amora, which is described by its organizers as an academy of sex and relationships. Amora is divided into seven interactive zones with touch screens, video footage and life size exhibits giving visitors information on everything from flirtation to sexual health. You can even spank a mannequin with a paddle to check if you use too much or too little force – although, frankly, that really depends on your partner and how he or she likes it! The academy is planning to host workshops on sexual health and sexual relationships, led by sex therapists. Amora can be found on Coventry Street in the West End and tickets cost between £12 and £15 depending on the time of day.

DRUG-RESISTANT GONORRHEA ON THE INCREASE
As if you needed another reason to practice safe sex… US officials have warned that gonorrhea has grown resistant to the standard antibiotic that has been used to treat the disease since the 1990s. A study found that in 2006 about 7 per cent of gonorrhea cases among straight men were drug-resistant. In 2001, it was less than 1 per cent. A new class of antibiotics has been recommended to treat the disease. However as the Centre for Disease Control points out, this means only one class of antibiotics now offers a highly effective treatment for gonorrhea. Experts have called the situation very risky.

THIS ISSUE'S TOP SEX TIP
There’s no denying that sex on a bed is comfortable and easy, but sex in standing positions is most enjoyable – and gives you the freedom to have it off wherever an opportunity might present itself. Try these, in order of increasing difficulty:

THE BODYGUARD
This is one of the easiest standing positions as both of you are on two feet – it’s just doggy style with a twist.
