Versatile release new track Don't Change
Following a show stealing performance at this year's Electric Picnic, the rap duo have released a brand new single.
Don't Change (Tu Mente) comes as a strikingly different track to their previous releases. The song exudes a chilled vibe as the pair rap about relationships in a distinctly Irish fashion. "I'll take you to the pictures, I'll take you to the cinema, I can't take you to dinner nah", continuing with the offer, "if I rob a bike for you can I get your digits free?"
It should come as no surprise that their pair are adept at handling different styles, given their innovation with rap over the past year, which helped to bring about a new wave of Irish Hip-hop.
Though the style may be different, one thing that remains the same is the Dublin vernacular that has become the pair's hallmark style.
The track features additional vocals by Evan Kennedy.
You can listen to the new release on Outburst's music channel.
Fans should also be excited by the accompanying statement on the video that calls this "the calm before the storm". Indeed new tracks were promised when they sat down to talk with Hot Press' Peter McGoran at Electric Picnic. You can find the interview below:
