Manic Street Preachers announce details of new album

The Welsh outfit have announced details of the follow-up to last year's critically acclaimed Journal For Plague Lovers which featured lyrics by former member Richey Edwards who disappeared mysteriously in early 1995. It will be the band's tenth studio album and is due to be released on September 17.

The album will be called Postcards From A Young Man. The band have been working on the album with producer Dave Eringa who had previously worked with the band on Send Away The Tigers and are currently putting the finishing touches.

They have announced a UK tour with more dates to be added, so fingers crossed for Irish Manics' fans that they'll be crossing the small pond for an Irish date.
