Multi-instrumentalists Dave Geraghty, Brian Crosby and Dominic Phillips wove a beguiling sonic tapestry, over which frontman Paul Noonan came into his own as a stunning lyricist and vocalist, creating universal epics out of extremely personal emotions, while ensuring there was enough wry humour in the mix to keep it out of po-faced territory.
