The artist's new single featuring Steve Wickham precedes his second studio album These Shores.
Irish singer songwriter Padraig Jack is set to release his sophomore album These Shores on October 11 , following his successful 2020 debut Making Sand.
Lead single ‘Long Street’ is a hopeful song about looking for the positives and trying to make the best out of the journey and hurdles that life throws at you. The music video features a montage of Padraig's loved ones, as well as clips from his previous gigs.
The single features musical contributions from Steve Wickham, a member of The Waterboys and In Tua Nua. It also features Clare Kenny, a bass player who has worked with Indigo Girls and Sinéad O’Connor.

A bilingual songwriter, Padraig blends Irish and English together to convey a rich sense of Irish identity. These Shores also features songs with contributions from the writer’s family and friends, such as Padraig’s dad and siblings. Other tracks from the record reflect the investment we make in our passions, and although we may struggle throughout the process, we have the potential to experience true fulfilment in the long run.
