Spoons
Jeff Martin came on to the scene in 2001 with his highly acclaimed debut Still, which was reminiscent of Nick Drake or Neil Young. This equally stunning follow up is more upbeat and electronic based. Spoons sees crafted pop song-writing collide with sonic eclecticism and brims with confidence and imagination. It resembles some of US indie’s finest iconoclasts such as John McEntire’s Sea and Cake who mixed the tracks. Treat yourself to this well produced delight.
