The Other Side of Fear
Described by Jackie Hayden of Hot Press as “an exuberant stew… (of) guerrilla guitars, jagged rhythms, deceptively catchy hooks and vocals that follow you all around the room,” The Other Side Of Fear is the first of two albums due out by summer 2010 from Dublin-based Loko Parentis, a band with attitude and swagger that rails against the modern world with a combination of “social commentary and human psycho-drama”. Eamon Carr of the Evening Herald called the title track “the most highly charged message of optimism released in 2009.” Guitars? Attitude? Optimism? Bring it on. More at: www.myspace.com/lokoparentis.
